Natamycin History

Pimaricin was afterwards renamed natamycin afterwards the World Health Organization (WHO) allowable that antibiotics produced by Streptomyces end in –mycin. The name aswell accompanying to the animal bearing the compound, Streptomyces natalensis, appropriately the name natamycin.
